Lela & Jordan

Last week I had the opportunity to photograph Lela & Jordan at Midway Village.   This is only the second time I've taken pictures for someone I didn't know, so I was a little nervous. Everything turned out great!  These two kids are just the cutest!  It was cold, windy, & on the verge of raining but they were so good during the whole session.  A big thank you to Susan for connecting me with this family!

A few of my favorites

Sunsets. I love them. I love watching the breathtaking beauty of a sunset unfold before my eyes.  Some of my favorite pictures of sunset silhouette pictures. Late last summer I decided to try my hand at taking some.  They turned out great!  I can't wait to take more like this!

Back in the saddle again! (not that I was in it very long to begin with)

I'm back!
I know everyone has been waiting in suspense for my next blog post.  :)
Yesterday my sister and I went outside and had fun shooting some pictures around the yard.   I'm always nervous taking pictures of people because I have no idea how to pose them or make them feel relaxed.  (This is why I you only see pictures of my sisters and cousins)  I would just like to say thanks to Emily for being such a good model and being patient with me.  I was sure most of the pictures wouldn't turn out and it would be a failure, but to my surprise they turned out great! I cannot begin to described the feeling of joy that goes through me when pictures turn out. Please let me know what you think of them.

This is my favorite shot from the whole session

C.O. Bigelow lipgloss

I love lipgloss! More Specifically, I love C.O. BIGELOW menthe lipgloss!

I always carry at least one of these with me at all times. Its one of my must have items.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! I tell everyone I know about this stuff. you could say I'm  some what of an addict.  :)

The thing I adore most about this gloss is the mint flavor. They put peppermint oil in the lipgloss so your breath is always minty fresh. Which is great if you run out of mints!  It's not overly sticky like other gloss tends to be, and has just the right amount of shine.  It comes in several tints and flavors, that very depending on the season. My favorites are the frosty glosses (christmas) and the the nude shade.
The only downfall this product has is the price. At $7.50 it's not exactly cheap, but they usually have a buy 2 get 1 free deal.  You can pick one up at C.O. Bigelow or Bath & Body works.

Whats your favorite go to gloss or makeup essential?
